Course Registration, Cancellation & Participation Policy

Please note that Triple R Training: Respond, Rescue, Revive is a division of Bulldog Business Enterprises Inc. and operates under its umbrella. Accordingly, payments, invoices, receipts, booking confirmations, and related communications may be issued by or through Bulldog Business Enterprises Inc. By registering for training with Triple R Training, you acknowledge and accept this arrangement.

Thank you for choosing Triple R Training for your first aid and CPR training needs. Because our courses require advance scheduling of instructors, equipment, materials, facilities, and administrative support, the following policies apply to all bookings.

By registering for a course, submitting a booking request, paying a deposit, or making full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined below.

COURSE TYPES

Triple R Training offers the following course formats:

Public Courses:
Scheduled courses that individual participants may register for on listed course dates.

Private On-Site Courses:
Training scheduled specifically for one participant or a small private group and delivered at the participant’s location, workplace, clinic, or other approved site.

Group Workplace Training:
On-site training scheduled specifically for organizations, businesses, teams, or departments seeking certification for multiple participants.

Each course type has different scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling terms.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Registration is not confirmed until payment or deposit, where applicable, has been received.

For public courses, full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a seat.

For private on-site courses, full payment or a deposit may be required before a booking is confirmed.

For group workplace training, a deposit is typically required to secure the training date. The remaining balance is due as stated on the invoice or upon completion of training, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Triple R Training reserves the right to cancel, decline, or postpone a booking if payment has not been received by the stated deadline.

Any payment processing fees charged by third-party processors may be deducted from refunds where permitted.

PUBLIC COURSES

Public courses are scheduled course dates offered for individual registration.

Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for public courses are as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course date are eligible for a refund minus any applicable payment processing fees.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund.

  • Where space permits, registrations cancelled within 7 days may be transferred one time to a future public course date at Triple R Training’s discretion.

  • Failure to attend without notice will be treated as a no-show, and all fees will be forfeited.

Seat transfers to another participant may be permitted if requested before the course date and if all participant information is provided in time for processing.

PRIVATE ON-SITE COURSES

Private on-site courses are scheduled specifically for individual clients or small private groups and reserved around instructor availability.

Because these bookings require dedicated scheduling and block off instructor time, the following terms apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled training date may be rescheduled without penalty, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled training date may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the total course cost.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled training date may result in forfeiture of the booking fee or deposit.

  • If full payment was made in advance, any refund issued will be less any applicable cancellation fees, rush premiums, travel-related charges already incurred, and payment processing fees where permitted.

Rescheduling requests are subject to instructor availability and are not guaranteed.

GROUP WORKPLACE TRAINING

Group workplace training is scheduled specifically for organizations and businesses and often involves coordination of instructors, equipment, certification processing, and travel.

A deposit, typically 25%, is required to secure the booking date unless otherwise stated in writing. The remaining balance is due as stated on the invoice or upon completion of training.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for group workplace training are as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled training date may be rescheduled without penalty, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled training date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled training date may result in additional charges to cover instructor scheduling, course preparation, travel, facility costs, and administrative losses.

  • If multiple training days or instructors were reserved, Triple R Training reserves the right to assess reasonable cancellation charges reflecting actual costs incurred.

Rescheduling requests are subject to instructor availability and may require a new deposit depending on the timing and circumstances.

RUSH BOOKINGS AND EXPEDITED SCHEDULING

Triple R Training may offer rush or expedited bookings for clients requiring training on short notice.

Rush premiums may apply to bookings requested within:

  • 14 days of the requested training date, and/or

  • 7 days of the requested training date

Rush premiums compensate for short-notice instructor scheduling, administrative adjustments, and operational disruption.

If a booking that included a rush premium is cancelled or rescheduled:

  • The rush premium portion is non-refundable

  • Standard cancellation and rescheduling policies for the applicable course type still apply

  • Any additional reasonable costs already incurred may also be deducted where applicable

COURSE TRANSFERS AND RESCHEDULING

Transfer and rescheduling requests must be made before the scheduled course start time.

Transfers and rescheduling are always subject to:

  • availability

  • instructor scheduling

  • facility and travel logistics

  • prerequisite and course eligibility requirements

Approval of a transfer or rescheduling request is at the sole discretion of Triple R Training.

A transfer or rescheduled booking does not create a right to future refunds.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

Some courses require participants to hold a valid prerequisite certification.

Participants are responsible for confirming that they meet all prerequisite requirements before registering. Prerequisites are listed on the course page or during registration.

Participants may be required to provide proof of prerequisite certification before or during the course.

If a participant registers for a course without meeting the prerequisite requirements, or fails to provide acceptable proof of eligibility, Triple R Training may refuse course completion and certification issuance. In such cases, all fees may be forfeited.

If a participant presents certification for a different course or credential that does not meet the stated prerequisite requirement, the participant may be required to register and pay for the correct course.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Participants are expected to arrive on time and ready to participate for the full duration of the scheduled training.

A 15-minute grace period may be permitted at the instructor’s discretion.

Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused entry if the late arrival would interfere with the course, disrupt other participants, or prevent successful completion of certification requirements.

If a participant is refused entry due to late arrival:

  • course fees will be forfeited

  • certification will not be issued

  • rebooking will require a new registration and payment

Participants are strongly encouraged to contact Triple R Training as soon as possible if they anticipate being late. Contacting us does not guarantee admission.

NO-SHOW POLICY

Participants who fail to attend a scheduled course without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

All fees paid will be forfeited, and rebooking will require full payment.

COURSE CANCELLATION BY TRIPLE R TRAINING

Triple R Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a course due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • low enrollment

  • instructor illness or unavailability

  • severe weather

  • unsafe travel conditions

  • venue issues

  • unforeseen operational circumstances

If Triple R Training cancels a course, participants will be offered either:

  • a transfer to another available course date, or

  • a full refund of monies paid to Triple R Training for that booking

Triple R Training is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential costs incurred by participants as a result of cancellation, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, lost wages, childcare, or third-party expenses.

Refunds, where applicable, may take up to 10–14 business days to process depending on the payment provider.

THIRD-PARTY REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS

If a third party registers or pays on behalf of a participant, that third party is deemed to have accepted these policies on behalf of the participant.

The third party is responsible for ensuring that the participant receives all relevant booking information, prerequisites, schedules, and policy details.

Triple R Training will not release private participant information, course results, or certification records to a third party without the participant’s consent, except where required by law.

INHERENT RISK

First aid and CPR training involve physical activity, practical scenarios, and partner-based skills practice, including but not limited to CPR compressions, lifting, kneeling, and emergency simulation activities.

By participating in training, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities.

Participants are responsible for disclosing any injuries, medical conditions, limitations, or concerns that may affect their ability to participate safely.

Triple R Training may modify activities where reasonable, but reserves the right to determine whether a participant can safely continue.

BEHAVIOUR POLICY

Triple R Training is committed to providing a respectful, safe, and productive learning environment.

Disruptive, abusive, threatening, intoxicated, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Triple R Training reserves the right to remove any participant from a course if their conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

If a participant is removed for behavioural reasons:

  • course fees will be forfeited

  • certification will not be issued

  • rebooking may be refused

Where necessary, Triple R Training may involve building security, venue staff, or law enforcement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Triple R Training, Respond, Rescue, Revive, and Bulldog Business Enterprises Inc., including their instructors, contractors, employees, and representatives, are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising from participation in training, cancellation, rescheduling, delayed arrival, refusal of entry, or certification-related issues, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Participants attend and participate at their own risk.

POLICY INTERPRETATION AND CHANGES

Triple R Training reserves the right to interpret, apply, amend, or update these policies at any time.

The version of the policy in effect at the time of registration or booking request will apply to that booking unless otherwise required by law.
